Based in Philadelphia, Dr. Vincent Philiponis held responsibilities as the senior director at ICON Clinical Research for many years. In this role, he supported and monitored the pharmacovigilance and clinical-development program. Dr. Vincent Philiponis set in place robust medical-monitoring capacities and guided the firm’s medical affairs through a global leadership team.
Dr. Philiponis facilitated a number of international partnerships and provided ICON sponsors with drug development consultation. He also consulted in areas such as protocol and informed consent review and patient eligibility, and he oversaw assignments of teams and staff in targeted projects in ways that ensured quality and sustained profitability.
